MESS Vanilla SMP is run on some serious hardware in order to keep our goal of 20 TPS within reach. The cost of the dedicated server hosted by our 3rd party provider is covered by the founding team behind MESS. In order to keep it going, we do rely on donations to help pay the bills.
We are currently working on an automated donation / subscription / supporter system, but in the mean time, please reach out to Byuneq on the Discord server via direct message if you'd like to chip in to help cover the costs. Supporters get a fancy color name both in game and on Discord to show their support, along with a nightvision command in game.
